Will the United States ever move towards a more sustainable agriculture?
It seems like so many American farmers are losing the battle against the genetically modified foods and corporations. Which means we are losing the battle against eating healty and sustaining our own food. What do you forsee in the future?
Being certified organic means the company paid to have that certificate. Many local companies and farmers cannot afford this certificate. It doesn’t mean much.
The future is obvious 3rd World Corporate Agriculture will replace the American Farmer.
I find this the most paradoxical of all the Republican Agenda’s The American Farmer consistently votes Red State. Yet the Corporate Policies of GOP backed Multinational Agra-business have consistently eroded the family farm. ADM and it’s minions have bought up blocks of land evicted families the same as during the Great Depression. And the farmers still line up on election day and vote for the very men that are destroying the American Farmer.
I’m all for voting for the candidate of your choice But the farmer I just don’t understand. Why vote for the one that is killing you
Go big Red Go
Where does israel get its water from?
Where does Israel get its water supplies from? are there many rivers and Lakes there?? also
How Often does it rain in Israel? and what is Agriculture and Farming in Israel mainly made up from?
Israel is suffering from a severe water shortage this year in particular. Israel is likewise aware of the water shortage in the territories, which is part of the general water shortage in the area.
Israel has implemented her part of the agreement with the PA concerning water.
Water matters in Judea and Samaria, like other civil powers, have been for some time under the full responsibility of the PA.
Against this background, many actions are being undertaken by Israel, the PA and donor states, separately and in concert, to improve the water situation in the territories.
Despite the water shortage in the area, Israel continues to supply the same amount of water to the PA and is even searching for ways to increase this amount and to find solutions to the problem. This is in spite of the substantial decrease in water allocations in Israel, and despite problems of adequate cooperation with the PA concerning recycling and conservation of water.
And Israel ignores the gross amount of water that is stolen by Arabs in Judea and Samaria.

i have agriculture land in india,i want to do some good business in that land.?
I want to do good agriculture business,if anybody have good idea then pls reply mewith details?
I don’t know in what part of india do you live, but i have some idea that you can use to start a good business.
1. If you want to grow something i will recommend you to know how suitably you can grow that in your place. If you want to start a winery business by growing grapes it will be a real good business to work on.
2. If you want to do something like: Growing seasonal fruits or domesticating animal it will be good idea too.
3. One good idea to start a business is to go to local market and see what resources has a greatest value and demand. And when you know which has maximum value start that business on it.
4. If you are living in cold places and the market price for the fruits or vegetables which are grown in hot places has higher value. You can start a business using green house effect to grow that at your place.
5. if I have to generalize my answer, do this; go to local market and figure out which has a higher values and demand. Do business on one with higher demands and value. But if you want to compete in National and international Market you need to know, how i am going to compete with the market to sell my product.
For Example: if you want to do business in animals you need to know which one is highly exported or imported. If you know this you can start a business and come up with exporting or selling strategy with which you can compete in the market.
6. If your place is suitable to grow cotton or rubber, i recommend you to start business on it because they will have a real good value in market.
7. Mushroom business is also a good business to start with.
8. [Note: It actually depends upon type of land you have]
